ICU CLOM recognises the different use cases and pricing preferences of its customers.
Therefore we have developed flexible, sensible and affordable pricing models, whereby you can chose between a pay as you go model (COINs) and monthly subscriptions, the so called SIMPLE PLANS.

UNDERSTANDING THE VALUE OF ICU CLOM COINs
Your COINs are only used up when images are sent from the trail cameras to your app. Depending on the size of the image the corresponding COINs are used up from your COIN balance. Small and standard image size is equal to the costs of 1 COIN. Highest resolution photos 2 COINs.

HOW MANY COINs WILL I REQUIRE?
The average consumption using 6 ICU CLOM network cameras to cover 1 square kilometre is around 24,000 images per year. This corresponds to roughly 11 images per CLOM network camera per day.
1 x camera – average image consumption per year:

6 x cameras – average image consumption per year:
24,000 images = 24,000 COINs. 25,000 COINs = KES 41,000

Purchase COINs to suit you requirements from 'top-ups' to large multi network camera savings. The average consumption of an ICU CLOM network camera is about 11 images per day. This corresponds to approx. 4,000 - 5,000 images per year.

The following Enhanced function Plans "Plus" and "Premium" extend the functions of the icuapp and have a selectable term (30 days, 90 days or one year). At the end of this period, the extensions end automatically. You do not have to cancel a package, nothing is extended automatically. The function is simply no longer available after the package expires.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our COINs model has been developed to meet the requirements of an efficent CLOM camera network in which multiple cameras are used for cellular land observation and monitoring. You top up your account with COINs and all cameras in your network are supplied with this balance. 1 COIN = 1 image. It could not be simpler. If you want to use additional functions such as remote control or AI animal detection, you can purchase an Extended Functions Plan for your CLOM network, which also applies to all cameras in your account.
As there are of course also situations in which a simple network is set up with just one camera, we have created our Simple Plans. A plan for one camera that already contains everything you need for a small CLOM setup.
When you purchase an ICU CLOM Cam-S, you will receive the Simple Plan Silver for 30 days free of charge. This Plan includes 100 images that you have available for your network to start with. You will additionally receive 100 COINs. These are required for the video download. 2 COINs = 1 second of video. The plan is valid and active for 30 days.
The Silver Plan ends automatically after 30 days. You do not have to do anything and there are no extra or hidden costs or exceptions. If you have subscribed to a Simple Plan Gold or Platin, your subscription will continue until you cancel it. The plan automatically renews every month for another 30 days, just like your Netflix or Spotify subscription. You can always cancel or pause the plan yourself at the end of the current month.
If the photo volume of your plan is used up before the end of the month, no more pictures will be sent by the camera and you will not have to pay any further costs. As soon as you switch to another plan or top up your photo volume, the camera will start sending pictures again.
The ICU CLOM Cam-S can be used without an active Simple Plan as a non-transmitting game camera. However, no images will be sent to the app and you will not receive a push notification when something is recorded. Alternatively, you can activate the Silver Plan on a monthly basis and have an additional 100 images sent to the ICU App for free.
With our COINs model, the COINs credit remains in the account beyond the end of the month and only expires after it is used up. With Simple Plans, the unused photo volume is not transferred. You start again at the beginning of the month with the photo volume contained in your plan.
Our Simple Plans can be purchased directly after registering your camera in the ICU CLOM APP under the SHOP menu item.

Every ICU CLOM camera comes with 50 COINs free of charge. With the ICU CLOM Cam-S models, the image transmission and additional functions such as GPS position retrieval, AI animal recognition or camera control via the app are billed using the Simple Plans.
However, if you would like to request a video when a picture is taken, the video seconds are paid in COINs. 2 COINs = 1 Video Second. With the starting credit of 50 COINs, you can download 25 video seconds free of charge before you have to top up new COINs for a fee.
An ICU CLOM camera takes an average of 4,000 images per year. That is approximately 11 images per day or 333 images per month.
You can switch from your Simple Plan to the next higher plan at any time. Switching from e.g. Platin to Gold is only possible at the end of the current month. Switching from Platin or Gold to a Silver plan is equivalent to cancelling your subscription at the end of the month.
